BASIC course
This course teaches learners how to install, operate, configure, and verify a basic IPv4 and IPv6 network, including configuring a LAN switch, configuring an IP router, identifying basic security threats, understanding redundant topologies, troubleshooting common network issues, connecting to a WAN, configuring EIGRP and OSPF in both IPv4 and IPv6, understanding wide-area network technologies, and getting familiar with device management and licensing. Also detailed overview about network operation systems and most popular network services like DNS, Web Server, Mail Server, Proxy Server, Open LDAP server, Radius Server, FTP and etc. All training sessions are accompanied by extensive hands-on lab/practice with usage of a network explorer tools like Wireshark and Packet Tracer.
ADVANCED course
National Research and Education Network (NREN) daily operation and functionality provision utilise a large set of different network monitoring tools, and active/passive networking elements. NREN’s organizational and infrastructure development and security management requires both solid networking, security provision and higher level application specific knowledge. Also this course includes open source Network monitoring tools, Resource management and Security services based on open source Unix like OS’s. All services and tools covered in detail starting from installation, administration and overall management. All training sessions are accompanied by extensive hands-on lab/practice with usage of a network explorer tools like Wireshark and packet Tracer.
